I'ts the type of thing that more anticipation that actual pain. So long as your piercer is good (which mine was) it hardly hurts at all. Even with my silly scar tissue in my back, it hardly hurt. Just felt like large splinters sitting in my back, really.
A corset piercing is not permanent...even if you get rings or something, it will eventually have to come out.

your corset piercings are wonderful...i have seen a lot of corset piercings but yours is the best looking i have seen! nice one!

It looks lovely, but I am curious.... if it is not permanent, how long does it last? I like body art, but I would be hesitant to do something so detailed (have seen pics of this type with a dozen or so piercings) that was not going to last awhile. Is it worth it?

It can last for a short while, if you put actual jewelry in, and take care of it. However, you will run a HIGH risk of tearing and mirgation, or just flat out rejection, so it's not advisable to leave in too long...
that said, YES! It's worth it.

Awww, I didn't even see what you wrote until now! I feel all special and stuff now...it's been FOREVER since we've poked needles in eachother...we need to fix that!!!
That was our first go at play piercing/corsets...we've gone bigger and bigger since then! We're both addicted...

It's more done on females, that I've seen. Most males lean towards patterns, it seems....although anything and everything is possible (and has been done!)
